When the problems of life seem insurmountable, people frequently look to a church for relief. The churches in the Greater Beaufort area have combined in one organization, HELP of BEAUFORT, to respond to those who need assistance. In this way, churches can carry out the Gospel mandate to feed the poor and clothe the naked.





HELP is a state-chartered, tax exempt, non-profit organization with a Board of Directors. To insure close association with supporting churches, there is an Advisory Council composed of church members informed of HELP's needs. The Advisory Council representatives generally act as liaisons between HELP and member churches.
