When the problems of life seem insurmountable, people frequently look to a church for relief. The churches in the Greater Beaufort area have combined in one organization, HELP of BEAUFORT, to respond to those who need assistance. In this way, churches can carry out the Gospel mandate to feed the poor and clothe the naked. |

Volunteers: All staff members of HELP are volunteers.
Men and women are needed to work at HELP House for 3 hours in
the morning, one day a week. Or, perhaps you would prefer to be a
driver for the Mobile Meals Program and deliver the noon meal. See
who's helping us... Food: Canned and other non-perishable food is always needed for our food program. Your contribution will help restock at the HELP House. Clothing: There is a year round need for clean, serviceable clothing of all sizes for men, women, and children. There is never enough children's clothing. Money: Funds are always critical. HELP's stop-gap emergency financial assistance program is dependent on a continuing source of contributions from individuals, churches, and other organizations. All funds donated are used to assist verified needs and not for salaries or high administrative costs. Donations of food or clothing can be brought to HELP House at 1910 Baggett Street, from 9:30am to 12:30pm, Monday through Friday. Please do not leave donations outside of the building!!! Mail your tax-deductible contribution to: Help of Beaufort PO Box 472 Beaufort, SC 29901
