Mobile Meals

HELP of Beaufort also encompasses HELP Mobile Meals. , works with social workers from Beaufort Memorial Hospital to arrange meals for those who are ill, disabled or are in need of meal preparation. There is a small fee for the meals which are made in the kitchens at Beaufort Memorial Hospital.

Volunteers pick up the 60-70 meals and deliver them Monday through Friday, including holidays. Individuals needing a nutritious meal meeting specific dietary needs may be referred by professional caregivers, hospital social workers, doctors, etc.

HELP of Beaufort Mobile Meals grew from an effort to have a hands-on service to Jesus Christ by the ladies of The First Presbyterian Church. The Mobile Meals program serves nearly 18,000 meals a year to the elderly and disabled. For more information or if you are interested in assisting with this program please contact Colleen Elbers, or call 281-667-6704

A Testimonial

"[HELP of Beaufort's] people have been my family for 30 years now. When I can help, I do; when I can't, they do.
